Sorry about the gap in blogging

Hi everyone. We are at Indian Hills Camp outside of Jamul CA. The delay in blogging is the result of several factors. One--we are in a valley. No cell phone, no TV just great weather and fellowship. If we go up the mountain about 2 miles, we can get cell phone reception. I tried to get my computer to work on the camps wireless but after several tries, no luck. I am using V's computer right now. The setting--I am on the board porch looking out over some of the camp and listening to the frogs, chickens and coyotes. It's about 5:30 and the temperature is about 50.

We are working on several projects. Two ladies are sewing costumes for the summer western program. V and another lady are painting bunk beds. C and three other ladies are painting signs for the carnival area. Two men are building cabinets for the office. R and another man are working on the gold mine water trough. B and three other men are working on the bleachers for the western show arena. (Removing old ones and building new ones. Seating capacity of about 300).

Great group to work with. We are eight couples: One from Canada, one from CA, one from MD, one from TX, one from IA, one from WA and of course two from MN. Some have family in this area so they do get to visit family on the weekends.

We went to David Jeremiah's church on Sunday. He was gone but had a great sermon.

Continue to pray for us. B's knee is doing much better--swelling has gone down. Pray for R's heel--pain when he walks. V and C are doing great. C is still on MN time so sleep schedule is OFF. Pray for safety and good health. Bennie got a hair (fur) cut yesterday. He pranced around like a puppy--must of felt cool.

Since this is V's computer, I don't have any pictures with this message. Will post another blog soon with pictures.

Thanks for the comments. nlsower

Hi How is S.D., CA? we are back in the deep freeze. it was 80 when we left Phoenix - we spent about 4 hours walking around the Zoo in shorts and when we got home it was -16. just about 100 degrees different and we still had our shorts on when we landed, but we got into a warm car and had backup if we had any problems. Everything was fine - how could it be anything but - it was in a froze state! TZ is still in Austria he'll be back on 2-14-07. I guess we will just ride the waves until it gets a little warmer- what else can you do? Hope you are having a good time and getting a lot of sight seeing done. Hope it is warm there. we have about 2" of snow on the ground so we have some cover. Stay safe and we miss you guys - don't you feel guilt leaving us??
God Bless all of you

Thanks for the call. Your work sounds great. I would guess it would be fun for you all to return for the show in the summer. Hope your knee continues to get better. We anticipate more snow soon. J says thanks for the lego toy. He decided he wanted to have two to play with. B
