If the titles to the posts are confusing, it is because I have to enter the pictures in the reverse order. Sorry about that.
This is the snowy backyard that we left behind when we headed south.
It hasn't been very warm in North Florida. It is 23 degrees this morning. Our project host is concerned that it is too cold for us Minnesotans to be working outside--anything below 50 degrees them is too cold to work outside, but as soon as we started working we shed a couple of layers of clothing--we started out with five.

This is the sign that greeted us in Bonifay, FL. The blue building in the background in the gym and new offices/classroom/chapel--it is not occupied yet, but they are getting close. They have been working on the building for six years--all volunteer help. There is work for you.

The other sign at the enterance. The men are boys--ages 11 to 17 in a military style enviroment.

The present office, classroom, chapel and dining hall.

The staff house for the single men staff. The SOWER men are to put vinyl siding on one end of the house where the garage doors were. That is our second weeks project.

Hello!
Thanks for the photos. Sounds like work that will make a difference. Glad you are enjoying the warm (er) weather although it sounds like you brought some cold weather with you. We learn a lot from your blog so thanks for sharing.
Hope it is warmer down there than it is here! We had minus 30 yesterday morning and we were suppose to go to a funeral in the cities, but the cattle waterer was froze and by the time we got things going it was too late. the funeral was for the last of my dad's full sisters. We are knee deep in snow and freezing to death. It snows just about everyday from a dusting to a couple inches. Tomorrow we have our church meeting, otherwise we are in the same old routine I have another quilt to put on the frame and now I am finishing the popcorn stitch afagan for my nephew that is getting married in Hawaii on Tuesday and has a reception on 2/16/11. G had a Halo Oblation repeated on 1/5/11 and is doing well Nice seeing the pictures you sent, keep them coming! Hope all goes well for you and you can stay well and hope Bill is healed from his fall before you left.
God Bless You
