Hi everybody

This week has flown by soooooooo fast. R & V have been working at Amundsen Educational Center in the mornings and at the AAA fishing camp in the afternoons. How is that for being busy? B has been working at the Diamond M Ranch and RV park. General stuff like replacing a shower, installing a light fixture, putting in outlets in a new entertainment center and replacing some electrical pedestals in the RV park.

We are enjoying the wildlife and the scenery (lots of mountains). Today we went to Clam Gulch to watch people dig clams. It was fun to see the tide going out. The tide changes about 25 feet this month. Clamming was slow so didn't see any being dug up. We then drove to Homer--saw lots of eagles and then a moose on the way home. V has a moose story to tell!!!!!!!!!!!!! Homer is beautiful with white mountain across the blue water.

Tomorrow, it is off to church--Kenai Peninsula Brethren Church.

The weather is great--cool mornings and pleasant afternoons. Lows in the 40's and highs in the 60's. Of course it doesn't get dark until midnight--it is 11:45 now and not really dark. But I must get to be so we can get to Sunday School tomorrow.

I miss seeing MN turn green in the spring--still rather brown here. Digging in the RV pedestals was a little problem since the permafrost in only down 24 inches--glad that was all the deeper I had to dig.

Keep praying for us--we are all well--just old age aches and pains--but who is getting old. nlsower

Hi Everyone: I couldn't get the blogspot to come up for the longest time, but I finally got it up today and have lots of news, both good and not so good. You know our youngest daughter is expecting, She was out here the Saturday before Mother's Day and looked like she was 50 years old and I told her she didn't look good and she wanted to know why I thought that cause everyone else told her she looked great. She came back on Tuesday and went fishing with us and drank a gallon of water while we were fishing. Wednesday she went for her regular monthly checkup at 3:30 and at 6:00 that night the Clinic called and told her to check herself into the Emergency room right away so she did and her Blood sugar was at 800 - She was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital per ambulance with the lights and serin on and admitted to ICU, by then her blood sugar was 1100. Friday they felt she was educated enough to handle it at home. She was told to check her blood sugar 6 - 7 times a day and report back to the hospital. Saturday night at midnight she went back to the hospital with contractions. THey put her on IV of Mag Sulfate to stop the contraction and when we were there on Sunday, she had a reaction and we out of it most of the time, so the cut her dosage down and late Sunday night she called and said she was better and she sounded better. Today she said that they are going to watch her real and maybe discharge her tomorrow - but she has to go to her mother-in-laws house in St Cloud until the baby comes. She will be on bedrest with bathroom privileges only. She has to be near the hospital and Ruth is an RN. Sounds like an exciting summer. Ruth still has 6 kids home, so there will not be a dull moment. We get a lift station put in our truck today and that was 200. and they said we need and injector pump and that will be 1500. Fun - fun. M and G went canoeing down the river when he was here and G said he dosen't ever remember the river being that low this time of year. We are really dry and every time there is a chance of rain it misses us. We have most of our garden in and are watering it. Lake Beauty this weekend so we will be thinking about guys and maybe your ears will ring!!!!!!!! Now that I've talked your ears off I'll leave and go help G do some fensing. God Be with you all, Miss you
