Beautiful day at Dry Creek

Completed our first week at Dry Creek Baptist Camp.  We have install nearly all the fence post for about 2500 ft of chain link fence--also the ladies have painted, cleaned and helped with mailings.

Jim cleaning post.

Bob installing post.  Kevin (a local volunteer) driving post to correct level.

I didn't have any pictures of me working so included me sitting in the rocking chair.
I guided the auger on the tractor as we drilled the holes.  Frank, one of the staff, drove the tractor.
He had to look over his shoulder for four days--my old body couldn't take that.

The pine trees. Carole walking to the RV park

Spring is here.

Path to the prayer garden.

Our RV park in the trees.

Some stuff Carole dusted.

Game night.

Landing the boat.

The drive wheel on the boat.  All hydraulic drive and steering.

The traps are emptied unto this sorting table. The small ones fall thru and go back into the pond.
The rest are sorted into the different bags.

arrived at Dry Creek

We are at Dry Creek Baptist Camp in Dry Creek, LA.  Very beautiful setting.  We have been royally welcomed--sweet tea and goodies.  The project for the men will be chain link fence.  For the women it will be staining, cleaning, mailings, etc.

We went to church today just a mile down the road.  Lots of young people and very friendly--Sunday School was good too.

I haven't taken any pictures yet--was too cold yesterday and I was lazy this afternoon.  Played games tonight--golf 9.
