R & B returned from taking B & C's camper to Ohio. The trip went well--rain much of the way to OH but no heavy fog or ice. We left about noon Tue and got to OH on Wed about 8 am our time. Dropped off the camper and headed back home about noon. We hit Chicago about 5 pm so was rather slow but made it home about 6:30 am Thur. Drove about 1700 miles--I think we are rather old to be sleeping in the truck--neither one of us could walk when we would stop--bet we were a funny sight when we stopped--one old man on each side of the truck trying to get moving.
A hot shower and a little rest has helped get the kinks out.
The camper is scheduled for inspection on Dec 18th then it is wait until the new VIN plate is made so the inspector can install it on the camper. I will be waiting for a call when the plate is installed so I can make another trip to OH to pick up the camper.
After picking up the camper, we will be back through MN to load it for our trip to TX etc. We are to be at our TX project by Jan 5, 2007. Pray that God will work out the timing.
