B & C are leaving after church on Sunday. Stopping in Eagan through Monday then off to OH on Tuesday. The weather looks wet but not much snow. Should arrive in OH on Wednesday but with no mail delivery on Tuesday the earliest the new VIN plate could be installed is Thursday. We will just wait in OH until the plate is install.
If we don't get back to MN before the MN vehicle registration office closes on Friday, it will be Monday the 8th before we can transfer the title to MN. I guess it will all be in God's timing. Patience, patience..............

R & V & Benny on the road
I am not sure why anyone would go south when it is summer here in Minnesota.
R & V along with Bennie are on the road. They left on Wed. Are visiting V's brother in Valley Center, Kansas near Wichita. They will be on the road again on Jan 1. Will stop in Oklahoma City for a short visit before heading on to Texas. They are glad their route isn't through Denver--the snow most likely will stay in the western parts of OK and KS.
B & C are still waiting for a call from OH. B will call Saturday morning to get the latest. We plan to leave for OH January 1st. We'll just wait there until the camper is ready. Hope it is ready Tue or Wed. Then it is back to MN to pack up. The weather looks like it will be warm through next week--that should make for good driving.
B has been doing little fix-it project around the house and C has been sorting, packing and going through magazines. She cuts out interesting info and tosses the rest.
About our house showing--the people picked our house as their number one choice of what they saw that day. They are trying to decide if they want to be on water or if they want an acreage. They do have a place to sell but it sounds like it is quite saleable.

Still waiting for a call from OH
Hi, Merry Christmas. B has the truck packed--sorted his tools to minimize the weight. Now it is time to sit and wait for a call that a new VIN plate is attached to the camper so we can go and pick it up.
C is sewing to pass the time. B's back is much better--rather slow going in the morning. He can now bend over to tie his shoes. Thanks for the prayers.

Camper Inspection
Praise the Lord! The camper inspection went well today. Now all we have to so is wait for a new VIN plate--it must be personally installed by the inspector. It could take from 5 days to 2 weeks for the new plate. Pray it is closer to the 5 days. We will get a phone call the day before the plate is to be installed. We will leave to pick up the camper in Ohio as soon as we get the call. Hope the roads will be dry for the trip.
Side note: B twisted his back Sunday morning raising a garage door--went to Dr. Z today and it is much better. Pray for complete healing. Thanks, nlsower

Successful Ohio Trip
R & B returned from taking B & C's camper to Ohio. The trip went well--rain much of the way to OH but no heavy fog or ice. We left about noon Tue and got to OH on Wed about 8 am our time. Dropped off the camper and headed back home about noon. We hit Chicago about 5 pm so was rather slow but made it home about 6:30 am Thur. Drove about 1700 miles--I think we are rather old to be sleeping in the truck--neither one of us could walk when we would stop--bet we were a funny sight when we stopped--one old man on each side of the truck trying to get moving.
A hot shower and a little rest has helped get the kinks out.
The camper is scheduled for inspection on Dec 18th then it is wait until the new VIN plate is made so the inspector can install it on the camper. I will be waiting for a call when the plate is installed so I can make another trip to OH to pick up the camper.

Watching the Weather
R & B are planning to leave for Ohio Tuesday late morning. The weather doesn't sound too good--drizzle and light snow. Hope the roads are salted and sanded. We don't have to be to Ohio until the 18th but B&C have Christmas with family the 16th. R&V also have a full schedule for the weekend. Pray for a safe trip. nlsower
